Longer answer: What Live Connection is designed to do is be a more effective means of making professional recordings of your music. Instead of ending up with a box of CDs that just sit there doing nothing, we put your music to work! You get recordings of three of your songs, performed live on stage at an O2 Academy venue (nationwide) and filmed professionally on a three camera shoot. The audio is mixed by an engineer using a professional studio based around Pro Tools and an SSL 4056 G series console; that mix is then synchronised back to the video to complete the recording. 

Live Connection then distributes these recordings, first to our network of industry experts, and then to a wider public audience of millions via our databases and selected broadcast partners.

We will also add you to our databases for additional support slots where any are relevant and available. 

We've brought the whole process of making professional recordings of your music, distributing it to the music industry, and trying to increase your audience and sales, under one roof. At the same time we've made that whole process more affordable than it has ever been before!

Answer: You do! You paid for it and it's yours to use. For the purposes of releasing the tracks while we are plugging you through our various channels of promotion, we license the right to release them commercially on your behalf for 12 months. 

The royalty rate you receive during this period is 60% of gross income; that means that unlike most recording agreements, we don't cover any of our costs before paying your 60%. Any of our costs have to come out of our 40% as we believe that is fair to the artist. 

After 12 months the deal ends and we hand full rights back to you, simple as that!

Answer: We don't make any offers or promises of either, though you will be added to the Academy Music Group venues' 'local support list' for your area and given priority status. We will also consider Live Connection artists for slots at festivals and outdoor events promoted and supported by Live Nation.
